RECIPES FOR HOME-MADE FUN
GHOST POOP SCULPTURE:
The newer style packing peanuts make great sculpture material. Make sure that you find the corn-starch based peanuts (at stores that receive a lot of product, like a bookstore).
Just lick and stick them together, or use a slightly dampened sponge and dab the peanut onto the sponge for wetting. You can make huge things in very little time.
You can decorate them with markers too. For those in the "monster phase" you can make huge ugly monsters and then melt them down in the tub or outside with a squirt gun. Great fun!

BREAD CLAY
Materials Needed:
· 7 pieces of white bread
· 7 teaspoons white school glue
· 1/2 teaspoon water
· 1/2 teaspoon dish soap
· Food coloring (optional)
Instructions:
- Cut the crusts off the pieces of bread.
- Break the bread into small pieces and put them in a medium sized bowl.
- Add the glue and mix thoroughly.
- Add the water and dish soap and mix until you get a nice clay consistancy. **If you mixture is too dry, add a bit more water.
- If you want to color the clay before you play with it, break it into three or four pieces and add a couple of drops of food coloring to each piece. Mix thoroughly.
Now you can make shapes and let them air dry, which takes about 24 hours. Once they're dry, paint them with tempera paints.
